Terms and conditions

How I work with your brand

Last updated 3 November 2026

These are the standard terms on which I provide DevShop Retail OS: I build and run the online business for your brand. I've written them in plain language. If anything is unclear, write to me before you pay anything.

Who I am

DevShop Retail OS is a brand of DEVSHOP LLP (LLPIN ADD-2576), whose registered office is First Floor, Enkay Tower, Plot No. B&B1, Vanijya Nikunj, Udyog Vihar, Phase V, Gurgaon, Haryana 122016, India. In these terms "I", "me" and "DevShop" mean DEVSHOP LLP, and "you" means the brand that works with me.

Your brand's own terms come first

Each brand I work with signs its own terms on its terms page before work starts. Those signed terms set the details for that brand, such as DevShop's share. Where they differ from this page, the brand's signed terms take precedence.

How DevShop is paid

The model is agreed per brand and written in its signed terms. It is one of:

If you opt in to Pay with a Post™, DevShop also receives 1% of the sales it drives, charged only once payment is received. Prices are on the pricing page.

Term and ending early

The deposit

Work starts with a ₹5,000 deposit. It is fully adjusted against your actual onboarding tech costs (hosting, database, WhatsApp number, email, domain, AI). DevShop keeps none of it; every charge and the remaining balance are shown on your brand's terms page. See cancellation and refunds.

Customer payments and settlement

Every customer payment is collected into DevShop's account first. Each week (Monday to Sunday) is settled the following Monday by 1 PM, with an itemised statement.

Build time

Your store goes live within 7 days of the deposit being confirmed, subject to the setup answers and third-party approvals (payment gateway, Meta, WhatsApp).

Who handles what

Confidentiality

I keep your brand's information confidential: I don't disclose it or use it for anyone else. That is my obligation to your brand. Any non-compete in an agreement with DevShop applies only to the other party (not to replicate DevShop Retail OS, its commercial model or Pay with a Post™). It never restricts DevShop from building, running or serving other brands, including brands in the same category.

Portfolio

When you sign your brand's terms, you agree DevShop may reference your brand's name, logo and results (for example revenue growth, before and after) in DevShop's own portfolio and marketing, including its website and case studies. Nothing you tell me in confidence beyond those public-facing facts is shared without your separate approval.

Orders on brand stores

If you bought a product from a brand store I run, your purchase is with that brand, and its store's own terms, shipping and refund policies apply.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Gurugram, Haryana have exclusive jurisdiction.

Changes

If I change these terms, I'll update this page and the date at the top. Changes never alter terms a brand has already signed without that brand's agreement.
